Mukul Patil and Tushar Mittal

Mukul Patil is a first year BSc Economics student at the LSE. Born in Nashik, India and currently living in London, Mukul is interested in microfinance, fintech and development economics and is currently providing consultancy services to Kenya based MFI Transfedha through the LSE Microfinance Society.
Tushar Mittal is a first year BSc Management student at the LSE. His interest in writing articles for an academic magazine stemmed from his experience of producing his school’s first economics magazine, ‘The JLS Economist’. Having taken the process from conception to execution, he wanted a platform to continue exploring his interests in writing academic articles and ‘The London Globalist’ provided exactly that.
This year, Mukul and Tushar have decided to focus on writing a column on microfinance, aiming to explore different topics in the future.
