Is Ebola the next aids?
President Barack Obama has reiterated that the Ebola outbreak should be treated as a top National Security priority, with the Director of the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention Tom Freiden comparing the epidemic to AID. After the death of Dallas Ebola victims earlier this week, America announced plans it will begin to implement screenings at major airports of passengers arriving from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.

Mystery of missing Mexican students continues
A new mass grave has been found in Igualam Mexico near the site were 43 students went missing after clashes with Government officials earlier this month. This follows the huge operation currently taking place to locate the missing students, amongst widespread national concern. This discovery comes after 28 burnt bodies were found in graves last week, who’s identies have yet to be confirmed

Police and Protestors clash in St Louis
Ahead of a weekend ofpolice-violence rallies, state officials have clashed with demonstrators for a second night in the city which saw the shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown ear lie this summer. The protests were once again angry at the level of police violence after 18-year-old Vonderrit Myers Jr was shot dead by an off duty police officer in what is being called a firefight on Wendesday evening.

Spanish Ebola victim still in critical state
A female nurse in Madrid, the first reported case of a person contracting the deadly Ebola virus without having travelled to West Africa is still in a critical condition in a Spanish treatment ward. The victim who had been working in a Spanish hospital was treating two infected Spanish missionaries, has increased Euoprean worries about the spread of the virus with six potential victims now in quarantine.

Prestigious Nobel Prizes to be announced in Oslo
The world’s most prestigious peace associated award, will be announced by the Norweigan Nobel committee in Oslo later today. The award, often seen as controversial under worldwide media scrutiny currently has a $1.24 million prize0fubd check. Current favourites are the Vatican’s Pope Francis and American Whistleblower Edward Snowden.

UKIP win first Parliamentary Seat
Nigel Farage’s UK Independence Party has won their first official parliamentary seat in the Clacton by-election in the United Kingdom. Douglas Carswell, a former Conservative MP won 59.66% of the votes, in what some are seeing as the start of a mini-earthquake in British politics.

Russian President Vladimir Putin for his 62nd birthday has received a hercules theme art show in which the Russian leader is depicted as the Greek God. Just google it.

IS fighters prepare to take the streets of Kobani
The Islamic State flag has been joisted for the first time above the Turkish/Syria border state of Kobani. Syrian Kurds remain woefully unarmed, as the fear of the a mass onslaught in the country rises and the calls for increased international support continue. US- led forces have continued to mount air stries against the militants, who are now thought to have been in control of at least one-third of the border town

Kenyatta returns to Kenya after ICC appearance
President Uhuru Kenyatta has returned to his native country to crowds of celebration and a national guard, following his appearance at a hearing at the International Criminal Court in the Hague. The Kenyan President , denied charges against humanity at his hearing relating to the death of 1000 Kenyan’s following Presidential elections in 2007 in trial of the first sitting President to attend an International Criminal Court tribunal.

WHO fears Ebola is now ‘entrenched in West Africa
The World Health Organisation is now expressing concern that Ebola is now ‘entrenched’ in the major cities of the worst affected countries in Western Africa. This comes after Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea made emotive pleas to the World Bank yesterday for increasing international aid to fight the epidemic.

Kurds appeal to the Hague for greater international action against the IS threat
Turkish- Kurdish relations are continued to be threatened by the increasing power of the militant group the Islamic State. With Kobane on the verge of falling into rebel state, Kurdish demonstrators are still continuing to protests Turkey’s inaction to aid Kobane’s beleaguered citizens.

Talks between Hong Kong Official and Students somewhat fail
As student leaders attempt to organise further acts of civil disobedience in Hong Kong’s pro-democracy movement the nations Chief Secretary Carrie Lam has delcated it was ‘impossible to have a constructive meeting’ with demonstrators. However, if today’s planned sit down is cancelled, it is questionable whether we will see further unrest or city-wide anger dwindle

Defected Russian tiger on the prowl in China
Believed to be on the search for food, ‘Kuzia’, a Russian tiger Vladimir Putin released into the wild , has believed to have crossed the border into China. Whilst Chinese officials claim they will protect the animal, the nations insatiable demand for animal products could put the great animal at risk.

Homemade Liquor kills 29 in Pakistan
Police in Pakistan have set up official probes after a homemade methanol gained alcoholic beverage claims the lives of 29 and hospitalises 34. The authorities have already suspended six officials, having already arrested a prime suspect.

Kim Jong-un…still missing
The North Korean leader has missed the national celebration of the anniversary of the founding of his ruling Worker’s Party, fuelling more lucrative rumours that the North Koran leader has been secretly disposed of having not been seen publicly in over a month.
